NEW! Wallrock Fibreliner Smooth 150

Wallrock Brochure DownloadOur NEW! Wallrock Fibreliner Smooth is a high performance lining paper that deilvers great results every time; it offers all the advantages of standard Wallrock Fibreliner, though with a new smoother finish resulting in lower paint consumption and a beautifully modern overall look.

Wallrock Fibreliner Smooth is not only made with paper fibres, but also has polyester textile fibres which act to reinforce the paper and the surface it is applied to. Strength and stability ensure that Wallrock Fibreliner Smooth is easy to use, delivering perfect results that are resistant to expansion and shrinkage.

As with standard Wallrock Fibreliner it can be hung straight from the roll for quick and easy application. High tensile strength makes it ideal for covering cracked and damaged walls and in most cases stops the cracks reappearing completely.

Ideal for overhanging on Wallrock R300 Cosy Liner, Wallrock Thermal Liner and Wallrock Thermal Liner KV600.

The use of Wallrock Power Adhesive or another good quality ready mixed adhesive is strongly recommended to ensure problem free application and a long sevice life.

Wallrock Fibreliner Smooth 150

Wallrock Fibreliner Smooth offers two surface finishes. The outer surface of the roll offers an improved finish for either painting or over hanging with wallpaper. We recommend that the inner surface of the roll is applied to the wall.

  1. Cut all lengths required allowing extra for trim at each end, or simply hang directly from the roll onto a prepasted wall or ceiling. Apply the inner surface to the wall. Please note Wallrock Fibreliner Smooth can also be hung horizontally, especially useful if you intend to overhang with a decorative wallpaper.
  2. Mark a guideline with a pencil for the first length, using a plumbline as a guide for vertical drops or a spirit level for horizontal application.
  3. If applying the adhesive direct to the wall or ceilings, apply enough to hang one or two lengths at a time, ensuring the paste exceeds the width of the second length. If pasting the material (either side) make sure all edges are covered. With both methods, hang Wallrock Fibreliner Smooth immediately - no soaking is required.
  4. Apply the first length along the guideline and smooth out with a wallpaper brush then trim the ends.
  5. Butt join all subsequent lengths being careful not to overlap the edges.
  6. Allow Wallrock Fibreliner Smooth to dry thoroughly before decorating with emulsion paint or overhanging with another wallcovering (normally 24 hours is sufficient).
  7. Wallrock Fibreliner Smooth is also ‘dry strippable’ in many applications.

We strongly recommend the use of a good quality ready mixed adhesive, such as our Wallrock Power Adhesive, for application of this product.

This is a simple wallpaper calculator and should be used as a guide only. You can find the roll width and roll length you are after on the specific product page.
Roll widths are provided in meters (such as 0.5 x 10mtr) so your wall widths and heights should be inputted in meters also.
If you are purchasing an offset match product then you may need a little extra as there may be some waste. If you have any windows or doors in your walls you can simply ignore these. This will give a good estimate of required roll numbers.
